So what is a RAT race?

If you fancy a go at a skating race but aren't ready to join FISS, then every FISS track and indoor event includes races just for you! Called RAT (originally Rink and Trick Skaters) racing, you can skate in inlines or quads and give it a go! The cost last year was £2 per event, and for that you get 2 races spread through the programme. The only things that you need other than your skates are a crash hat/helmet (If you don't have one don't buy one especially - we usually have some that you can borrow) and if you are under 18 you will need a parental signature in order to skate. RAT races are lots of fun and usually have skaters of all abilities and ages in them, so don't be shy - come and have a go!

Entry to FISS races for spectators is free unless indicated otherwise
